A Reality Show..

Mon(am) + Thurs(pm) = Floorball training
Tues(pm) + Thurs(pm) + Sat(am) = Hockey Training
Tues(am) + Fri(am) = Swim Training

with a pretty tight schedule for the holidays, i hav applied no-pay-leave from Mindef, and continued staying in my room in Ke7.. of cos u see some empty time slots, which i need of cos!! those r the times when i relax n mayb do nothing n sleep or enjoy the company of tv shows..

speaking of which, my fren lent me dis reality show, titled "playing it straight".. its a set of 6 cds, sumthing similar to "the bachelor", where a girl has many man to choose from as her bf or more, n of cos monetary rewards..

Here's the twist, and the crux of dis reality show:

1. The girl, Zoe has 12 men to choose from, of which SOME r Straight, SOME r GAY!!
2. The show is filmed in England, with the setting more of 'cowboy' style, where more often then not, they r tasked to do activities linked to cowboys, like riding, wearing traditional cowboy attires etc.. they aso hav a theme song, which is rather cowboy-ish.. haha..
3. Zoe, n even among the guys, no one noes who's gay, who's not!!
4. If eventually Zoe chooses a straight guy, both of them shares $100,000 (=$50,000 each) cold hard cash.. BUT if Zoe chooses a gay guy, the gay guy gets the full $100,000 while Zoe gets NOTHING(no love, no money)!!
5. Thus the title "Playing it straight".. the gay men hav to fake as if they r straights n try to win Zoe's heart like the straight guys, so as to win the $100,000!!
6. Every week sees an elimination of 2 men, n oni when Zoe eliminates them from the game, she will b entitled to noe if he is straight or gay..

Reflections from the show:
a. Everytime she eliminates a straight guy, her immediate reaction will be "F**K".. --> tats cool.. haha.. there's no censored speech in here..
b. Her first 2 elimination were both straight guys!! her "gaydar" failed on her.. i would hav made the same decision as her, cos the guys she eliminated had like tonnes of moisturisers lar, cream for dis n tat lar, n even hair straighteners!! --> looks r deceiving.. we can't base on wat we c n stereotype mentality to judge pple..
c. The gay men r going as far as it takes for them to win the money.. --> some pple with srong determination really go all the way to achieve their goals, can b a good or bad thing, depends on ur perception n how it affects the surrounding pple..
d. In the final 3, 'at least one of them is gay' is revealed to her.. guess who did she choose?!?! neh, i ain't gonna reveal it.. all i'm gonna say is 'follow ur heart more den other things when relationships r concerned, n u will b fully rewarded'..

its quite an interesting show actually, cos there r some touching confession parts by the gay man n all.. yar, n the twist here n there, how Zoe trys to acertain whether one is gay or straight, how each tries to play their own game etc.. definitely more interesting den the bachelor or the bachelorette..
