Oslo Trip Part 2

after a tiring day at the ski mountain, we slept real late into the morning on sunday and took our time to go out, cos.. .. ..

norway is another ghost town like denmark --> almost every shops closed on sundays de..

with tat in mind, we were walking ard without much expectation, juz to enjoy the scenary and enjoy each other's company..

juz some of the buildings displaying the rich european style..

bored, and with taking pictures as the ONLY interesting thing to do during our walk ard town, or at least to make it seem interesting.. here we go!!

the parliament house is DIS BIG.. i am SO amazed tat i could still jump, despite FALLING DOWN so many times while skiiing yest.. hurhur..

.. i wish i could turn back time, and spend my day relax-ingly to the maximum spider all over again..

personal pick of Oslo City.. outside the royal palace, on the dirty brown soil, i picked out the botak trees against the streaks of clouds in blue sky.. how i wish i could be sitting down under on of the tree, reading a book, or having a little picnic with frens there.. weee~

tats it for the oslo trip.. evening flight back to denmark, and the nightmare of rushing the projects starts all over again.. oh wellz.. life is nv meant to be juz a breeze rite?!

Oslo Trip Part 1

having spent 5 weeks in denmark, and a weekend escapade at Kiruna and Stockholm in Sweden, we expand our scope of coverage of the scandinavia countries to Oslo in Norway.. haha..

boarding pass, and the Ferrari + Porsche Car Display @ Copenhagen Airport..

who to blame, when there is 64euros (S$136) air tix to oslo, and we are all yearning for a ski trip (having missed out on sweden's isaberg cos there was insufficient snow dis winter)?!?! haha..

pack our bags and off we go.. dis time round, 10member group, including dan adam sam jiwon junhao kendrick yanli jialiang xiaoli and urs truely..

plane delayed by 20mins, a 1hr 10mins in Norwegian Air Shuttle, and the 20mins train ride to Oslo City..

it was a nite flight n we touched down pretty late.. oni had time to check in to hostel and sleep.. haha..

the next morning, its KICK-ASS SKIING TIME!! ok, not yet.. the journey there was a killer..

we missed a train, resulting us having to wait for another 30mins, cos the train brings us high up into a mountain in olso, called Voksenkollen station, where we transferred to a shuttle bus further up the mountain to the ski resort..

there, we geared up and paid (pretty heavily) for the gear n lift pass..

me and equipment, ski blades, ski boots, coincidently all in my matching red t-shirt with black coat n pants, with the red n black boots.. haha.. I AM SO COOL LAH!! whaha..

without further hestitation, we jumped into the embrace of the snow mountain..

literally rite?! haha.. well, i am juz an amateur skiier ya see.. so nothing fantastic but the beginner slope is ENOUGH to challenge me the whole day.. hurhur..

arhh, found them finally.. haha..

on top of one of the intermediate slope.. yap, we went down and most of us juz kept falling along the way.

the cloud ard us gone in seconds.. i'm glad i made the trip up to witness dis breath-taking moment, although the skiing down part proofed to be way too tedious and painful! haha..

such is an amazing view from the top of dis intermediate slope.. its crazily exciting how the clouds come n go, leaving us fogged up n all cleared up the next minute.. haha..

someone died from skiing.. haha.. no lah.. i tink is someone spill their fruit juice while munching lunch.. haha..

tired, shacked, muscle giving up, bruises here n there, thirsty, amazingly not hungry.. haha.. unknowingly, we had skipped lunch and spend the whole late morning - evening skiing.. haha.. at 5, we de-geared and made our way down back to oslo city..

overall, skiing is an excitingly fun, and painful experience.. haha..

after skiing, its time to depart.. on the way down, the sun was setting and we actually caught the whole process.. first, its winter, so the sun sets pretty quickly, and second, we were decending the mountain, which makes the sun disappear at double quick time! haha..

while xiaoli aim to shop in every city she been to, i tink the guys r thinking of "tau-pok someone in every city"! haha.. boys will be boys.. =)
