CNY 2008

大年初一， me decided to continue the tradition of wearing new clothes.. haha.. so i happily put on my new blue n white stripe long sleeve shirt, ready for.. .. .. SCHOOL..

well, tats the problem of chinese being in a european country for CNY.. they dun celebrate it, we dun get off from school.. arghhh.. oh well, shall not complain after the yummy reunion dinner..

fortunately for the P container-mates (n frens), there was a belated bdae party for SAM..

everyone with something to do.. dan beating to get the icing-sugar-cream layer, xiaoli marinating the minced meat, hye jin cutting the brownie for the double brownie layer, and jia liang opening up a wine bottle..

after a simple meal of spagetti, we present dan's lemon cheesecake and double brownie cake with whip cream..

after dinner, it was chill-out time @ Kampsax (among the university residence area for the Danes).. its one of the 2 pubbing place in DTU.. the other being "cellarbar" at the central building 101..

i am so in love with doing photo collage manually, cos using photoshop, the effect is SO desirable.. no doubt it took quite abit of time, but i tink its worth it! haha.. wat do u tink?! =)

Reunion Dinner 2008

Reunion dinner 2008 had had to be a special one.. totally different from the ones i had for the past 23yrs.. not tat i dun like wat i experienced in the last 23 yrs, but dis time, things took a change by chance / fate.. and tadaa, presently to u, the 9 sporeans (all from NUS) in DTU, denmark..

after some cooking n much anticipation.. .. ..

no yu-sheng or abalone or shark's fin or buddha jump over the wall, but still, it was a wonderful meal, especially when its all done up by a bunch of kiddos like ourselves..

we even got mandarin oranges as "door gift".. but apparently, we consumed half of it ourselves.. whaha.. its so tasty (and expensive)..

greetings from denmark.. had a wonderful CNY reunion dinner with other 8 sporeans, 5 koreans, 2.5 australians, 1 american and 0.5 malaysian.. haha..

tmr, class as normal.. so is friday.. arghh.. din even get to buy new yr clothes or receive angbao.. neither do i get to eat pineapple tarts n bakwa n love letters.. no lau yu-sheng or steamboat.. ok, i am not complaining..

hope its gonna continue being enjoyable here in denmark, so looking forward to the kiruna trip (to see the northern light) 2 weeks later.. and the italy trip in march easter break.. hee..
