ok, here's part 2 of y i'm brian bernard chen baolai-mon..

first: baolai-mon
story: thx to jeremy tan lin keat (sorry, juz had to say out ur full name).. one fine day, when i was still a trainee during the ns time, i was scheduled for monitoring of other controllers, i.e. my name was written as baolai-mon on the whole white board.. n it happened tat tat particular day, i was the oni trainee, n the oni one to monitor other pple.. so, jeremy tan lin keat saw the board n said :"wa, y so many baolai-mons!! eh, baolai-mon baolai-mon, sound damn nice hor!! c, jeremy-mon, or linkeat-mon, or ethan-mon or joseph-mon all sound so awkward.. oni baolai-mon sound nice!!!" n he actually managed to convince everyone, n there u hav it, baolai-mon.. yar, as in pokemon-baolaimon.. -_-'''

second: bernand
story: during my ns time, my dyco (no.2 boss) cannot and/or refuse (or juz wanted to tease me) to remember my chinese name, and insist tat i hav sumthing more easy to remember n pronounce.. out of the blue, he pad on my shoulders n said 'from now on, u r bernard'(as in ber-nerd).. n he happily announced to the whole unit, 'call him bernard'.. warau.. =S so my very nice fren-cum-colleague, ethan, try to help n make it more atas by pronouncing it as ber-nord..

third: brian
story: den to me, aiyah, juz find a simple one lor, n common one, so can use in uni as well.. n uni will go orientation lah, different module mates lah etc etc etc, baolai is not particularly easy to remember anywayz, so yar, i juz choose brian over bobby lah or watever nonsense..

OTHERS:
Bluetooth: cos i had blue braces during my ns time, so goh cm saw my blue tooth(braces), n called me bluetooth(those damn cool high-tech electronic hp stuff)..

Castle: my callsign (chen-bao-lai, the chen-bao=castle/palaces etc)

Bala: juz a really really short-form!!!
